Oklahoma Misty Morning

The early morning mist settles low over the Oklahoma Training Track as horse and rider ready for the day. Built in 1863, this historic track rests in the same location as the original race course. A portion of the authentic track still remains today. The exact location is affectionately referred to as "Horse Haven". With a gentle touch of his brush, the artist captures the lure of a by gone era. The fog meanders through the scene as rich green hues of old majestic oak trees stand as mighty guards of this special place in horse racing history.
